Tribute

Here is a gallery of portraits of my maternal grandparents, Germaine and Camile, and my paternal grandparents, Catherine and Marcel.
Moments of joy and emotion as the water and pigments blend together to honour these two couples whom I hold dear in my heart, as many of their grandchildren do.
How wonderful it is to recall their presence, their warmth and all those wholesome values they passed on to us through their example and their love.
When times seem difficult, humbly turning to them – who overcame even more turbulent periods with determination and courage – gives us faith in our resilience and confidence in our ability to chart our course towards what truly matters. May our recent experience nurture our caring attention towards our loved ones, helping us to focus on what touches us most deeply, on what helps us grow most as a community, and on what shapes our humanity.
