My approach cultivates my sensitivity to people and events. It captures life in the present moment and strives to find wonder time and again in a somewhat sombre world, on a journey that seeks to move towards the light.

As a self-taught artist with no pretensions, I learn every day to train my eye to focus on what moves me, drawing on over 45 years’ experience as an amateur photographer and around ten years’ practice in watercolour and, more recently, acrylics.
